Our Evacuation Alert Systems are designed to fully meet your compliance and regulatory requirements using products certified to EN-54 and installed to meet the requirements of BS-8629. Typically, an integral component of our Life Safety offering, we focus on delivering the most efficient installation – minimising future disruption to any residents for routine maintenance – and offer custom system architecture to meet any building types. Paddington Bear Experience, County Hall, London South Bank
The client had a requirement to ventilate the basement area as part of the fire strategy, however due to the importance of the building and its listing, the existing critical windows were not permitted to be replaced, therefore we had to design a solution that allowed the existing sashes to be removed (and replaced at a later date if required) and replaced with Smoke vents certified to EN 12101-2. Bespoke units were designed to allow simple integration with the existing frames and supplied and installed along with a controls system that integrated into the buildings fire detection and alarm system ,all to allow for the grand opening.
